Biggest losers of World Cup tournament, so far, are the TV pundits and commentators.
Many of their match reports have been as lacklustre as the performances on the pitch.
Here are some recent 'fouls' - mainly from the UK and the BBC in particular. I'd like to build the collection, so please add your own in the comments below.
'Even Brazil can't play without the ball'
Italy v Ghana - John Motson
'That's what I like about his movement - standing still'
Spain v Ukraine - David Pleat
"If it wasn't Brazil you'd have to say they aren't playing that well."
Brazil - John Motson
"His father passed away on Thursday. He'll be disappointed with that."
On being asked how the Mexican goalkeeper would approach the game following a family tragedy - Craig Forrest, Canadian TV
